My name is David Schley (the only sly things about me are the silent c, h, and e in my name). You can call me David, Dave, Sly, “Hey You” or mortgage guy.

Before becoming a mortgage professional, I graduated from Temple University’s Beasley School of Law, learning both how to navigate rules and that I do not want to be a lawyer. After graduation, I became a restaurant manager and continued training as a mediator. I went on to own and operate a mediation firm until 2021, when I bought my first home and discovered that mortgages are my calling.

Listening skills learned as a mediator, research skills learned in law school and customer service skills honed in through food service have proven valuable tools in the mortgage business. But my biggest strength is a genuine desire to help people in whatever ways I can at America’s #1 Retail Mortgage Lender.
